A RWBY ZINE

01. | theme :
as we move from spring to summer, flowers bloom and grow into their identities. we want to pay homage to all the trans and nonbinary artists in the RWBY fandom, as well as its trans and nonbinary characters.
this zine will be centered around RWBY characters with trans or nonbinary identities, whether canonical or headcanoned. the flower aesthetic theme draws on the importance of flowers to RWBY's story and characters.
the characters are not limited to female characters/transfem headcanons - any trans/nonbinary character or headcanon is welcome. we will not erase canon trans/nonbinary identities.02. | selectivity :
though we can't include everyone, we hope to accept the majority of applicants. though subjective art quality is a factor, priority will be given to artists <1k twt followers, QPOC artists, trans/nonbinary artists, other LGBTQ+ and artists of color, and artists who have not been in many zines.

# GUIDELINES .

00. | general :
all dates and times will be in EST/UTC-5.
please contact the official twitter or either mod with questions or suggestions!
application results will be emailed, and if accepted, further communication will be over discord.

03. | applications :
all participants must be aged 16 or above at the time of application. mods will retain final discretion over lineup.
we will ask for 3 sample pieces and a portfolio (website, folder, account, etc.) that represents your work. a "portfolio" can be comprised of any work you are proud of!
we will be accepting page and merch artists", who will create digital "merch" like phone wallpapers and discord stickers/emojis.
artists who are "proship", have histories of bigotry, or use AI will be rejected. additionally, to prioritize participant comfort, artists that mainly create NSFW work will not be accepted.04. | content :
all pieces and outfits must be SFW and non-suggestive. to avoid complications, no non-canon ship content will be allowed. all art must reflect full pieces as portrayed in your portfolio. artists will be expected to create or collaborate on one 1-page piece containing 1-2 characters. for the zine, traditional art is acceptable, but must have a good-quality scan.
